This vessel has not been used as a vase or container..  it's been displayed on a shelf as a work of art to be admired.  My appreciation for authentic Native American products runs deep and I try to find out as much as I can about each piece. This one was purchased from a private seller in Grand Junction, CO who made the original purchase from Ute Mountain Pottery or the artist (A.
